FAQ
CAN I REALLY "JUST ADD WATER" DURING VEG AND FLOWER?

All of the necessary nutrients are available throughout the entire life of your plant and beyond. Our formula has a complex blend of all organic ingredients that will slowly release during the whole life cycle of your plant.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I ADD AMENDMENTS TO THE SOIL?
Our formula is packed with all of the nutrients that your plants need to thrive. GP soils contain beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae that will break down the natural ingredients and transport them to your plant for uptake.
ARE GP SOILS GOOD FOR STARTING SEEDS?
In the seed starter yes, it is a base soil. We do not recommend starting seeds in the living soil as it is charged and ready for a plant that is in the vegetative or flowering stage.
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN'T GROW IN GP SOILS?
GP Soils are ideal for all plants including fruiting and flowering plants of all types. The unique blend of organic amendments and living microorganisms helps provide the plants with a consistent dose of all the essential nutrients that a plant needs to thrive.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SEED STARTER AND THE LIVING SOIL?

The seed starter contains 5 base ingredients, compost, peat, earthworm castings, pumice, and rice hulls. Whereas the living soil contains the same 5 base ingredients with an additional 12 amendments, feather meal, bone meal, gypsum, bat guano, blood meal, oyster shell, dolomite, pelletized lime, humic acid, greensand, calcium silicate, and yucca.

CAN I USE THE SOIL FOR MY POTTED PLANTS AND RAISED BEDS?
The seed starter and living soil are designed to provide a healthy nutrient-rich environment for your plants in a container.
CAN I USE THIS SOIL FOR MY IN-GROUND BEDS?
This organic nutrient-rich blend can be used in garden beds and also as a top dress to revitalize your soil.
WHY DO I NOT SEE ANY PERLITE IN THE SOIL?
We use pumice in our soil instead of perlite. This inert porous material is heavier, meaning it won’t blow away or float to the top of your soil and it is able to last much longer in the soil.

GP Soils loves contributing to the amazing efforts on local farms and community gardens.
